Online tutoring
Math and physics sessions for Grades 8 to 12 over Google Meet. I write out every step on my iPad as we go, and your child gets the notes, a recording and practice questions after each session.
Your child joins from a laptop or tablet with a camera. I share my iPad screen and work through each problem by hand, one line at a time, so they can see how the answer comes together and ask about any step.
Sessions follow your child’s course and the Alberta curriculum, so we work on what is coming up in class, not a generic program.
Step by step
Fill in the contact form or call me. We set up a first session to see where your child is and what they need.
I send a link before each session. All your child needs is a laptop or tablet with a camera, plus paper and a pencil to work along.
I write every step on my iPad while your child follows and tries problems on their own. We slow down wherever they get stuck.
Your child gets the notes I wrote on, a recording of the session and practice questions for the week.
Questions
For most students, yes. Your child sees every step as I write it and can stop me at any point, the same as at a table. Online also saves the drive, which makes it easier to keep a regular weekly time.
A laptop or tablet with a camera, a steady internet connection, and paper and a pencil. It helps to have their class notes or worksheets nearby too.
Sessions run on Google Meet. I send a link before each session and your child joins from their browser.
